Steering rack

I've read some info on using Mobil 1 ATF.  I've done it on a couple of my
cars.  It supposedly makes the seals and other rubber bits swell.  I've used
it on a couple of my cars and haven't noticed any negative impact (yet
maybe?).  Been doing this for about a year.  Not replacing all the fluid,
just topping off with it now.  Can't guarantee that it will help or not
hinder though.
