Purchase question for used Audi for me *

A note on the A4-----99.5 is the best year. Still had a throttle cable and 
has all the good upgrades that came with the mid-year facelift. Beware the 
1.8t if it was not properly maintained and there is nothing at all wrong 
with the 30v 2.8 V6 if you have no intentions of seeking additional power. 
At 155k mine is still solid as a rock and has only had the usual oil leaks 
over the years and has gone through the control arms. HTH
