I too found my colling fan coming on hours or a while after shutting down.

Check back in an hour or two to see fi the fan kicks on.

It'll drain a battery real dead.

Others have had the door lock heaters kill a battery too.

If you haven't already, try glove compartment and if you have, a boot light.
