Intermittent Battery Drain -- 88 5KQ quattro Digest, Vol 57, Issue 28

Several days at work the battery was dead in the afternoon. I went back to
the car one morning and found the cooling fan going. I pulled the relay and
left it at that. I haven't had the temp go high. It's started since.
