SERPENTINE BELT ROUTING for 1999 A6 2.8

I spoke too soon.  On the diagram for the original belt routing the pulley
located second from the right (smaller diameter) would have the belt
making contact with the back (smooth) smooth surface of the belt to
the grooved face of the pulley.  So I'm still lost as to how to route this
belt.  I went to the NAPA store where I bought the replacement belt
and asked them.  They had a diagram in their book, might as well 
have been B-17 Flying Fortress.  Certainly didn't look anything like
my A6 2.8  :)  ANy help would be appreciated.
