The little fan motor that pulls cabin air across the sensor that's below the little grille in the center of the dash to tell the climate control system how warm the cabin is.
   
  The one in my 200q20v sedan occasionally likes to squeak and squeal when it's really cold.

If your car has the aspirator motor, it kind of makes a similar sound if
you flick it with finger.
