you'd be amazed at how many calls I used to get when I sold these cars new.  The time change twice a year would cause people to try to re-set their clocks, invariably while they were sitting in traffic and moving very slowly, and they would inadvertently set the warning at somewhere around 8-10mph...I would crack up but bite my tongue and not tell them to RTFM, and usually instruct them as to how to cancel it.  If it was a total jack*ss customer I might play dumb about it and wait and call them back after about 30 minutes of the warning going off in their face during the morning commute.
