US front plate holder on a CQ

I got a stinking front-plate ticket on my Coupe.   The PO didn't give me a
front plate, so i went on a run-around to get a new one.   I figured that
it would be fun to get a custom one and went with "CQrrado".   The
California DMV took my money, and then two months letter sent me a letter.
The letter informs me that the plate I chose is a "look-alike" and could
confuse poor illiterate law encforcement officers who can't tell a Q from
an O.

Long story short, I just got new standard-issue plates, but now I need a
plate holder.  Anyone got one of these around? I tried the local
pic-n-pull.  If I can't dig one up, I'll just use some trim tape I guess.
