Hmm.  Interesting.  Glad to know you made it home in one piece (and  
that it did, as well).

Off hand, the V8 serpentine belt for the 5 speed is shorter than the  
same belt for the automatic.  So if you're lucky, that's what went  
wrong with the belt. Otherwise something may have seized-up -- I hope  
not.

Turbo rush -- I know what you mean.  I loved that in my 200q20v.   
Much more stately in the V8.

Your pad light it likely a break or unused front pad sensors.  The  
other ones, I dunno.  Could be misadjusted parking brake switch, etc.

You likely have a very-much-lightened flywheel. Cat light might be  
loose connection.  Does it even have cats?
