A8 Front suspension torque specs

My findings? Fixing the tranny was the cheap and easy part! The only
parts involved was oil, filter, and two little plugs... $125 or so.

To fix the suspension (replace 4 control arms), replace the electric
cooling fan, do the timing belt job with all of the rollers, water
pump, cam seals etc, and replace one wheel bearing will be just under
$1000 in parts. Labor wise I think all of the above still won't add up
to the ammount of time I have in the transmission though.

But it's an AMAZING car. Considering that after 5000 miles and with no
other mechanical problems (Ive been through the rest of the chassis
with a fine toothed comb now) I'll be happy to have this car for under
$2000 invested including every cost except fuel!
