imo that's VERY cheap. i just did the clutch on my 1.8t a4 and
getting parts at cost via worldpac it still cost me ~$600 [clutch, pp,
new fw, etc] plus a day of work [first time]. that's with a lift, and
access to some of the best audi techs in the biz. =) if we were to do
it it would be at least $2k [120hr x 8 plus parts]
it's not a terrible job if you have a lift and a trans stand. the 01e
is mega so getting at the bolts is a PITA. if you don't have lift /
stand be happy to put 700$ in someone's pocket to do it for you.
