Paint Scuffs and Scratches

Yes, they are clearcoated. Consequently you do NOT want to remove the  
clearcoat.

A good gentle polish will remove almost nothing if used properly. It  
will actually redistribute the peaks to the troughs.

I like Meguiar's swirl remover 2.0. Follow the directions by hand,  
IMO. Its nto that bad a job, and leads to beautiful results.

I don't trust pros unless its a really good shop. Your dice.
