aero blades more fragile?

Since I doubt Volvo would give a crap about wiper blades collapsing under
snow weight, I'd say it has to do with either the motor burning out under
the load (expensive, especially if Volvo has to pay for it under warrantee
for something one would expect them to be able to do unless they cover their
collective legal butts by "warning the public not to") or the wiper arms
failing. Blades, dems cheap.
