control arms audi 200

I'm looking at doing control arms. (I've been reading my bentley's and
finding all sorts of good info..this one will solve shimmy on braking.big
shimmy..apparently.)  I'm seeing listing for 19mm ball joing and 18mm ball
joing. (arms come with balljoint etc for pretty cheap).  Does anyone know
the difference and which is correct for 10v 200?
