Bye the bye, there is no harmful _performance_ effect if the decel.
valve is replaced by a plug in the intake boot. I don't recall exactly
where I found the plug alternative but it's in the family album as
an option to the valve. I suppose I'm contributing a little extra
hydrocarbon to the atmosphere but I have one less thing to worry
about.
