Andrew was plucking glass for the coupe and came across cluster with a tach
and temp gauge. Completed install in ~2hrs. it felt methodical this time.
(better way to do ajob then a mad rush I typically find myself in). Anyway:
Tach works (first time for me) and so does the temp gauge. Car seems to be
even better now. I read in Bentley that tach on dash must be 'ok' for ISV
system to work. the quest continues. ON the testing of temp gauge trip.and
upon confirmation that yes the temp gauge worked ..I pinned it a couple of
times. IT was mad to see how fast it pulls through the revs..and how
smoothly it is doing it. Could be that not having tach as reference to
understand how I was pushing the car.but I think probably a combination of
better performance, -15degree Celsius weather (ceramic cube heater kept me
warm doing the i/c) Guess this is BTDT for most. I'm just happy some
perseverance and lots of guidance has resulted in the car I get to drive
today..vs just over a year ago. Still a long way to go.but I'm enjoying the
ride.
