A4 Avant spewing oil

I think the oil cooler on the A4 is a bit different. It mounts right on
the filter housing, filter mounts to that.

It has 2 water lines that go to it, they have some gizz around them and
the hose has expanded on the oil cooler. If there were a problem because
of the coolant crap perforating the aluminum - I'd expect coolant to
drip out not pure oil.

What I did find is that the gasket on the motor side of the oil cooler
was hard and split. I'm calling an easy fix and am looking for the
gasket - is this something that needs changing on A4 (150k miles) ?
