Bi-metalic corrosion eh? I though that it was just called "Land  
Rover". I was also under the impression that the chassis were generaly  
relatively rust free since they were constantly sprayed with oil.

Not wishing to cast dispersions or anything, BUT we have had only VWs  
and audis in the family since the late seventies when the old man's  
new R reg Triumph Dolomite failed its first MOT (annual safety test  
starting at 3 years old) due to the fact that the floor fell out. If  
anyone on the list ended up buying VNP954R; sorry about that.

No wonder there's no British car industry an more
