ELSAWIN '98 A8

A friend of mine has the exact car. He had transmission problems that  
after multiple times of dropping the pan and replacing solenoids,  
turned out to be a shorted trans harness where it ran up the  
firewall. Caused a fault for a shorted solenoid and put the trans in  
limp mode, and the fault would always clear itself by the time a  
meter could be put on it.
