Heater Blower

If it's intermittent, it's the brushes. They get filed down till the springs
can no longer push the brushes against the commutator...then the bouncing
car yields intermittent contact. Rotating inertia smooths the running
between contacts. You get mostly low speed, no speed.

I'm doing mine tomorrow while changing the heater core. I already r&r'ed my
friends A8 heater blower, it failed because of too much travel on dusty
roads. That one was from the top with lots of small 1/4" drive tools and
bits. The 93 S4 tomorrow will be from both sides.

I get my factory parts from Sunset Motors, Oregon:

They give a nice discount to club members, Audi owners in general.
