4k door problems.. still

At Autohauz Arizona the early type 44 febi/bilstein door handles go for a
whopping $12 brand new, the Dansk (German?) goes for $6.  One less
cappuccino or macchiato and there you go.  The 4K handles, $12 for JL and
$25 for Meyle, both brands made in the fatherland.

If you intend on keeping your 4K in the family till the next millennium,
I'd pick up a couple of  spare driver door handles, as they seem to be
the only ones in short supply, although the 4K's are a much more reliable
design and execution than the 5K's.
