Fay -- what exactly happened to your engine?
I think mine suffered a similar fate.

A few weeks ago I parked my car. It wouldn't 
start the next morning. The mechanic said it 
had no compression. His theory: it was oil 
starved, and the stress broke a crank key, 
which let the cams shift, which let the valves 
go bump.

I've got a new/used engine going in as I type.
