flashing brake light

Not in my experience, because even a bad bomb will hold pressure when the
car is running. A bad bomb won't compensate for pressure needed for
heavy assist or engine off operation. During normal driving you wouldn't
even notice it, since pump pressure is so high it will maintain without
the nitrogen assist. If your pumps marginal, have a clogged line or a
bad leak, you'd hear the whine of the pump and notice the lack of assist
way before any idiot lights start flashing.
