Hey, its Matt Bortolino and I was wondering if you could help me with a small problem I have come across.
I have a 1990 Audi 90. The cluster did not fit in correctly due to the part where you screw it in being broken. the clock also did not work. So i pulled a new cluster from the junkyard from a B4, i don't remember the year specifically. So I wanted to keep the odometer and speedometer because i thought it would be easier. So I used the new cluster for the casing, tach, clock, and temp gauge. I used the old circuit board, speedometer fuel gauge, odometer etc. I also used the part in the middle where the little screen goes. I thought it would be fine when I hooked it back to the car since the only thing that was really new was the tach side. It now says "52" instead of its usual opening ceremonies. It will not go away when the ignition is on. I was wondering what was wrong. Did i miss a point or two when i put it back together? Is there a short circuit? Should I let it work itself out?
Thank You
