Have you checked the blue exit er wire at the alternator? Corrosion can go a
LONG way up the wire and increase the resistance, which will lower the
output.

Having said that, I find that alternators are almost a maintenance item on a
200. I get  a lifetime guarantee unit and end up replacing it every two
years. Takes me about 1 to 1.5 hours start to finish.....
