Find another supplier.  I put in a Bosch rebuild and it's going on 10
years.  One voltage regulator gone south in that time.  When the
el-cheapo Chinese regulators came on the market they were failing at
about that rate, but even those are much improved these days.  The
alternator rarely goes, you may be swapping it out because of a bad
regulator (takes 5 minutes to change) or a precarious exciter wire.
