Parting a car Question

We sent a 5k with just bare rims, engine pretty much a mess (picked apart),
exhaust off..interior yanked. They will give you less money as they like to
do the parting portion of the biz as well :)... without rubber on rims you
need a flatbed....it is a fun experience to say the least.

I was going to send my 4kq to the crusher if no one wanted it for free. I
did not want to part because I am too busy, and I do not think my neighbors
would be into it.

My question is how complete does a car need to be to go to the crusher. If
they will just take the shell, I might part it, there is still some value
there.
