That was sort of my thought. And, I'm not 100% sure the mounting
points for the 200 dash are there int he 5000, although that could be
remedied fairly easily. But, the 200 cluster is wired with different
connectors, so you need to cut and splice those as well. However, as
the bodies are basically the same, It certainly will not require any
modification of the dash itself, as I've had to occasionally do in the
past.
I do have the schematics for both cars, so I can be of help there, if
you need. I'd do some measuring on the door pannels to make sure they
will work with the 200 dash. BTW, you are also planning on using the
center console as well, right? I don't think it could be done easily
without that.
