Seat Replacements

I do believe the two seats are interchangable. The V8's had an
adjuster on the drivers side for the lumbar support, that is the only
difference I know of for the standard seats in any of the type 44's.
BTW, you will have to swap the cover, not the entire back. The
seatback adjuster mechanism would be on the wrong side.

The seat tracks for the front mounting point of the manual seats are
way different. In order to put the power seats in, you would have to
find a way to mount the front of the power seats in your car. They
require the removal of the front track from your car (torch, cutoff
wheel, grinder) and drill two holes for the bolts. Your seat uses
three mounting points, two in teh rear and the centered one in front.
The Power seats use four, the same two rear tracks, and two bolts in
teh front.

And, of course, you would have to power them as well.

Audi 100 manual seats will also work as a direct fit in your car. I
don't know of any others, though.
