2006 VW Jetta Trunk latch

Look closely at the latch itself. If it's like the Mk4's (I haven't
had a broken MK5 yet) There is a plastic part on the latch that breaks
off, and that makes it hard, sometimes impossible for the latch to
push all the way to where it will click and hold. Very common on the
MK4's.
