I have no dealings with this person, but did recieve a VERY similar, word for word, email while I was looking for locksets for my '87 5kcsq and think that it is spam. Came to my spam folder.

Same Q. Mikel Ford in Sacramento?
Also came to spam: His email:

Hello,

This is Mikal Ford,I saw Your wanted Ad,so i decided
to e-mail you as i have item(s) in stock.if you are still in
need do get back to me.

Thanks,

Ford.

I responded to him, but I have no answer back. Very similar email body.
But this is not the email I recieved prior.

HTH,
Paul

I was contacted regarding a transmission I enquired about some time back. A person by
the name of Arnold Jones insists he can ship me a transmission in perfect condition
(mint) was the term used.  It has sounded to good to be true, so I did not reply back
with the information he requested and sent no payment.  Below is some of the emailing.
The fellow called me and was trying to follow through.  I told him straight up that he
sounded like a scammer  and when he mentioned Western Union check flags went off.  He
insisted that he isn't.  It would be ashamed if he is legit and I did not do business
with him because of other unscrupulous persons have made me distrustful.

So has anyone dealt with this guy before?

Ben
