That should read:

"because of lists like this we've consumed all of the wrecks for parts to
keep our beasts alive"

Each Gruppe-Q steamboat event seems to cost another wrecked type 44 quite a
few bits to keep mine going!  I wonder if the low number of "cheap" parts
cars is what drives so much of the sad pictures on the referenced site.
