First things first all OBDII cable plugs are virtually identical in  
fitment. Your cable will most definately work on that car... I know  
this because I've used your cable ;-).

I would suggest trying again to talk to the computers. I'd bet there  
are some codes or a computer that is altogether dead. I know on a  
Porsche rag top the windows and the roof work together and share ECU's  
so an ECU failure (or power/ground to said ECU, etc) can kill those  
functions together.
