Ben, you beat me to it with regards to RockAuto, which I was going to
suggest.
The Q is, is that CMC NLA for the 200 20VT??
Also, you could just get a seal kit for it no?
Furthermore, I notice that the CMC on the 5KTQ is very similar if not the same as the 200 20VT and could be interchangeable??
On that same note, the CMC on the 4KQ/ VW QSW also looks quite similar to the 5KTQ/ 200 20VT ones, although the attachment holes in the latter ones lack studs and are at about a 45% angle to the shaft/bore.
The 4KQ/ VW QSW has studs which sit horizontally in relation to the shaft/bore, but would probably work on the 200 20VT/ 5KTQ as long as the connecting line to the slave is the same. Just an idea that crossed my mine in the past when replacing the CMC in my VW QSW since the price for the 5KTQ is less than half of that of the QSW.
-Regards,
-Louis
They're having a closeout sale on many items. A week ago I ordered parts for my VW QSWs (also coincidentaly a CMC at 1/3 at what it normally goes for on the cheap) and 5KTQ.
They told me there are a couple of warehouses that are closing down and are trying to get rid of their parts in inventory, thus the low prices.
For example, a Benck N Arley H2O and timing belt for $14 and $4, respectively, no one else can't beat that. Albeit, these "closeout" items have a 30-day warranty, still I can live with that.
