Frankly, I'd buy a lathe and turn my own pistons before paying 260 each.

I have a JT engine I'd like to put in my 4000S Quattro. It has only 46,000
miles on it. The only problem is pistons number 1 and 2 are badly pitted.
Can these be reused? New ones from Audi cost $260 each. Can used pistons in
good condition be used?
