heat resistant plastic casting - definitely NAC

Hi Y'all,

My wife has a heirloom baking pan (now that's an interesting comment, 
eh?) which has (well, had is more like it) Bakelite cast plastic 
handles.  One handle has deteriorated with so much use as to simply 
disintegrate.  The other one can be used as a pattern for the missing 
handle.  Can anyone recommend a product from which a replacement 
handle might be home fabricated by an aged dolt with ten thumbs?  It 
needs to be sufficiently heat resistant to permit its use in a kitchen oven.

Yeah, I know.  Buy another pan.  But - the better half likes this one, so...
