2 pin idle switch (JT 4kq)

Well I am striking out pretty bad here. I have had 2 of my orders cancelled with various distributors, no one seems to have this POS on the shelf. WorldImpex, RockAuto, GermanAutoParts, AutoHausAZ, AutopartsWarehouse, PartsGeek, allllll a no go. Audi discontinued the part some time ago (Go figure, Audi dico'd a part you'd actually need?). Any insight GREATLY appreciated. Also I found on the Etka they note 2 of these idle switches. The one I need is the standard 9 digit part number for the 84-87 4000 quattro. The one listed for the Coupe GT (which I would think should be the same....) actually has an alpha character 'C' on the end of the part number. Not sure what the differences are but I need the standard 9 digit part. 

I know there was some talk to moving to the 3 pin idle / WOT switch setup on the 4kQ but to be honest when it was explained to me I really didnt grasp the concept of what specifically is needed to do the conversion. Something about taking the switches apart and bridging two of the wires, but be careful not to cross up which two your bridging as apparently something else is needed outside the switch? Made it seem like a LOT more work then splicing two ends together.
