2 pin idle switch (JT 4kq)

It's really quite simple.

There are two switches right next to each other, both with a power wire 
and an "output" wire.  To change to the 3 pin version, ideally you get 
the 3 pin connector that goes on the "car side" from a parts car or 
whatever.  Then you solder and heat shrink it to the correct wires from 
the harness.

and scroll to the bottom, and you see a schematic of the entire CIS-E 
system, with the wire colors marked. You will see that the black/blue 
wire is the shared power wire, easy to verify with the key on and a meter.

Another solution might involve finding an appropriate microswitch from, 
say, Digikey, and "making" it work.

Not sure what the differences are but I need the standard 9 digit part.

Something about taking the switches apart and bridging two of the wires, but be careful not to cross up which two your bridging as apparently something else is needed outside the switch? Made it seem like a LOT more work then splicing two ends together.
