We bought an '08 Q7 new (only bew car we've ever bought) and have loved every minute of it. Excellent ride, very respectable handling, and ours is not the "S-Line" with sport suspension. It does have the 20" alloys which of course betters that aspect over the stock 18's or even the 19s, but the ride even on long trips does not suffer. The fit and finish are tip-top in my opinion. Electronic 
gadgets abound and all are very functional, although I wish the Nav system wasn't DVD based. Ours is horribly outdated and I hate to have to spring for an updated one.

I'd look for a used '08 if I were you, and maybe a mid year one at that. The AMI was standard under the console at that point (that is if you have an ipod or other digital music player) and want the ease of just plugging it in.

Ours has the towing package, but I've never towed much more than a 6x8 utility trailer loaded with shredded mulch.  It did fine with that though.

I have not ridden in a SUV
even the new Caddy one
that I like.... but have not
been in the Audi SUV.

Anyone here have one?

I would like a luxury sports
car that is comfortable for
lots of driving  ....
