Hardware question- throw in your choice of expletives

My experience is only with my '91 20 valve. On both the side and underneath
fasteners there is room to lace the zip tie through the j-nut hole and
around the frame.  The first time I had to get in there was a PITA.  Now, I
just pull off the door wind cord, pop off the side trim and cut the ties,
and the knee crusher falls off.  This approach also eliminated an annoying
squeak under there.   YMMV...
