Fun Thanksgiving trip to MT, and spotted a 4000 Quattro outside of Missoula.

I'm a little late writing this, but I wanted to share this experience
with the list. I live in Houston right now, have been there for about
one and a half years. I also come up to my property in OK a lot. This
is where I have my parts cars, on five wooded acres.
My wife grew up in Montana, then moved to Houston when she graduated
high school. I spent ten years there, and that's how I got to know
her. We didn't get married till we were 27, but that's another story.
Anyhow, her Mother wanted us to visit for Thanksgiving this year. She
hadn't seen Camden (now 14) in ten years. She had also never met me in
the eight years of Lillie and myself being married. So, she paid for
the trip for us to fly up and back, and spend three days there. We
flew into Spokane, WA. Then, we rented a car and drove to Missoula,
getting in at about 4AM Thanksgiving morning.
On Friday, we decided to run up to Hot Springs and visit Lillie's
Sister and Brother in Law. While leaving Missoula, a little way after
getting onto 93 North, I spotted a Silver 4000 Quattro going the other
way. I just about jumped out of my skin. I actually thought about
turning around and chasing them, but I would have had no chance. It's
a Quattro, and I'm in a FWD. I know what a 4000Q is capable of! When
we came back through, I saw it parked in the driveway, just past where
I had seen it on the road. Any chance that is a lister? I haven't seen
another on the road in years.
Also, at Ellie's (my MIL) place, there is a 200Q sitting up on
jackstands, but complete and pretty nice looking. It's Pearl with a
black Sport interior. Was wishing I could trade the rental for one of
those two cars, but I digress. Anyhow, it was pretty cool to get that
highlight to the trip, which was a great trip in every experience we
had. I sure loved and missed the snow and cold. I'm a four seasons
sort of guy, and we really only have two in Houston.
Can't wait for the WI trip in Jan, though I'm driving my 4000Q up
there. That will be even more fun!

BTW, I'm looking at land in MT once again, and I hope to move back
there for good in about a year and a half.
