Not mentioned yet is the canister purge valve which looks like a vacuum leak sometimes. I had similar issues and found mine was stuck open. Also, when I was working this issue ('86 5ks KZ motor) I cleaned the metering plate in the horn which was causing unmetered air to bypass. Also, did you check out the frequency valve for function?
