One person brake bleeder, what do you recommend?

I have to agree with John here...
For many years I've used a clear tube, the more flexible the better,
weighted with a large nut, placed into a clear glass jar. Said jar is glued
to a board to keep from tipping... ask me why this is necessary... and
placed near the brake caliper in question. Put enough brake fluid in the
jar to cover the tube and open the bleed screw. Slowly pump the pedal until
clear fluid comes out of the tube then retighten the screw. I usually pump
the pedal by hand while looking at the jar to see when bubbles are out and
clear fluid is present. Tighten the bleed screw and go to next caliper.
Refill fluid reservoir after each caliper. Easy one man operation.
I arrived at this technique after asking the wife to pump the pedal for me.
After a frustrating half hour of opening and closing the bleed screw like
they tell you to do I realized she was pumping the clutch pedal not the
brake.
I've also placed an air hose quick disconnect fitting to a spare reservoir
cap and limited the pressure to a few psi to force fluid through the system.
This works but gave no better results than the previously described method.
I have a MityVac but have heard that it will pull bubbles past the bleed
screw threads and give false indications.
