dont know if this'll make it to the yahoo group, but heres my two cents.
while looking at trailers a few years ago i chose to spend more on aluminum
and buy as local as possible. my trailer is a
Worthington<http://www.worthingtontrailers.com/>made nearby in
Pennsylvania. my only gripe is about the way aluminum
oxidizes and requires seasonal attention the the grounds along the body.
aluminum was preferred not only for longevity, but especially because a lot
of my towing capacity would have been eaten up with a cheaper steel trailer.
that said, not everybody is as principled or financially willing/capable of
uS made aluminum.
here I digress into a short history teaser. If there are any Asian countries
I would be pleased to support, it would be Taiwan. Besides certain other
reasons of principle & manufacturing quality, I moreso respect Taiwan versus
several other countries by further learning about Chiang Kai
Shek<http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/history/world/1464>and
how he was exiled into Taiwan decades ago by the communists permeating
the US State Department after he nobly/foolishly let on that he wanted to
simply copy the uS Constitution to have a free Republic for China, ignorant
to agendas behind power centers of the executive branch US.
