I agree with Ben- for a small, occasional use Utility trailer, it's hard to
beat the Harbor Freight Specials.  If you're hauling often, Aluminum is
great.  My open Trailex trailer weighs 850 lbs... a comparable steel trailer
would be about 2200 lbs.  Beyond ease of towing, there's gas savings over
time.  And for some tow vehicles (Toureg/Cayenne/Q7) with a 5000 or 5500 lb.
tow rating, an aluminum trailer means they can now haul a car to the track.
Not possible with steel (unless the car is a Miata or Lotus).  For this
reason, I'm considering downsizing my daily driver/tow vehicle.
