Tony---

We are in Anchorage-- so is cold---- about 10 degrees above zero,
Fahrenheit, typically.

I am comparing it to other car-- A Ford Explorer. The temp gauge (and
Heater) warm up much faster--- within 3 of 4 miles for the Ford, no where
close that for the Audi.

Thanks for the help!

Rick

Rick,

I think that all depends on your level of expertise. It is a bit of a
job to get to it, on the front of the engine. And, it will take some
time. Probably set aside a day for labor on it, if you are relatively
new to this. However, it is certainly not at the top of my "dificult
to do" items.

When you say it "takes too long to warm up", what exactly do you mean
by this? Does the car get to opperating temperature at some point in
time? How long does it take, and what's the climate like where you are
at?

Tony
