1988 90Q sunroof issue

Where are the bolts that hold it to the roof located? Are they inside the tracks? Could it be something as simple
as a bolt slightly unscrewed that is causing it to bind?

My sunroof is having a bit of the 'mind of it's own' syndrome. The switch to open it is of the 'push up to tilt, pull down to close,
rotate to slide' variety. It used to go 'full tilt' with a quick push, now you have to 'hold' the push until it's fully tilted open, and more
often than not, as soon as you release the switch, it will close again. It doesn't always respond to the 'rotate to close', either.
Kind of a pain as I have my roof tilted constantly when parked in the summer and almost constantly when driving w/out the
A/C on, all year round.

My son's 2003 Jetta - newly purchased last week - has a 'rotate to slide, and rotate in a different direct to tilt' switch.

Thanks, but not the problem. The roof is physically blocked from
closing by "something".

But thanks for your attempt to help, I appreciate it!
