Brake pads and rotors

Well I have made my choice. I went with Brembo rotors, got a real good price on Amazon. Just plain rotors, no drilled holes or slots.
I had looked at EBC pads and a ferro-carbon compound from Hawkperformance, their High performance Street.
I know I can here you all LOL, clear over here. But I like good quality and the price difference on the rotor was only $12 more that NAPA generics.
I talked with Hawkperformance and they recommend the ferro-carbon over their ceramic pads.

I am amazed at the number of auto parts, Audi, that can be had at Amazon. Plus I get free shipping on orders over $25.
Anyway, thanks for the comments.

It's time to replace the front pads and rotors. I am sure the rotors are original and ready for a new set. I will also rebuild the clipers.
Most of my driving is street/freeway driving, stop and go type. Our temps average above 75f.

I really don't know much about these new compounds, semi-metallic, metallic or ceramic. I have looked at many brands, EBC "green stuff" looks good, but is it more than I need? Some complain about noise, dust, etc.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Al
