Dead End on Ignition Switch Replacement

Hi Folks,

My Bentley isn't much help.

I have 1991 20V Avant. Just got the ignition replacement switch and crawled
under the dash to replace. Bentley and what I saw don't match. My unit has a
plastic sleeve over the steering housing. Bentley says I should have a
"mounting bolt."

My replacement switch has two ears on the plastic body. Sketches of the
Ignition (fig 11 pp 94.13) are inconclusive.

Can someone who has BTDT (been there done that) help me out........I've been
using toggle switches for the past few months and I am really tired of going
over the checklist every time I start the car.

Ignition key                    On
Major switch                  On
Aux equip  switch          On
Headlight relays             On

I'm feeling like an astronaut.............
