You are right Grant, but I thought that type of release mechanism only applied to '80s Audis and VWs and I have also used the coat-harger method.

The DELTA stereo I removed yesterdar from a 96 A8 had one clip on either side similar to the clips holding the accesory bottoms.

BTW, does anyone know the code for said DELTA radio..model Audi A8, year: 1996.
